This year, CBI hosted the 13th Annual Pharmaceutical Compliance Congress (PCC) April 26 – 27, 2016, at Ritz Carlton in Washington, D.C.
The PCC sees over 400 attendees annually from a variety of backgrounds, with majority of them being from the bio/pharma/device community
This two-day event was packed with programming, including discussion of issues such as mergers and acquisitions, global transparency, off-label promotion, risk monitoring, cross-border compliance, and enforcement priorities.
The event started with an opening address from Ashley Watson, Chief Ethics and Compliance officer at Merck & Co, Inc., who spoke about how business compliance can raise the bar and reinforce global collaboration ,Trudy Tan, AstraZeneca; Jill Fallows-Macaluso, Novo Nordisk Inc.; and John Crisan, Johnson & Johnson were also among the noticeable speakers at the conference. FBI special agent (for ??) Jeffrey S. Salley also addressed the conference sharing the firsthand knowledge regarding the fallouts of failing to comply with the law.
We being a data analytics and integration start up specializing in pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries attended the conference and had a very warm response from the people visited our booth. We showed them our competence in relation to pharma and were applauded for our services.
