On June 30 2016, pharmaceutical companies across Europe will disclose their financial interactions with health care professionals in line with the guiding principles of the EFPIA disclosure code. In addition, there are a growing number of European anti-corruption laws discussed and implemented.

With regard to the EFPIA disclosure, privacy laws in some countries require consent given by the HCP for individual disclosure. This educational webinar will provide an overview of transparency, compliance, and anti-corruption requirements in the European Union. Insights into practices and strategies of pharmaceutical companies in EU countries for managing transparency and disclosure reporting will also be given. Hypothetical scenarios will be discussed to help highlight the real world application of these requirements, including areas of consideration and challenges.
